1. Acceptance of Terms
By commissioning artwork or purchasing from Katie Hollinshead Art, part of The Stunt Artists Ltd, you agree to these terms and conditions. A signed document is not required for these terms to be binding.
Please read these terms carefully. By placing a commission or making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted them.

2. Product Description (Commissioned Work)
Each commissioned piece will be crafted using artist-quality materials, including but not limited to high-quality canvas, paints, and finishes. Where applicable, the artwork will be completed with a durable varnish or setting spray to protect it from dust, dirt, and UV damage.
The subject matter will be based on an agreed photo, design, or abstract description discussed during the initial consultation.
Minor alterations can be made during the process. However, any major changes in the overall direction of the piece may incur an additional charge.

3. Photograph Rights
If using a photo not personally owned by the client (e.g., from a professional photographer), the client is responsible for obtaining permission from the photo’s owner before commissioning the artwork.

4. Payment Terms

• Deposit (Commissions & Originals): A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking or reserve original artwork.

• Final Balance (Commissions): The remaining 50% balance is due on completion of the piece. Once final payment is received, the artwork will be varnished/fixed, framed (if applicable), and prepared for collection or shipping.

• Unsatisfied Outcome: If the client is unsatisfied with the final piece, and the issue cannot be resolved through minor alterations, the remaining 50% balance will not be required. However, the client will not receive the artwork. If appropriate the piece may be placed for public sale.

• Prints: Payment for prints is required in full at the time of purchase.

• Payment Method: All payments must be made via bank transfer or website checkout to The Stunt Artists Ltd, the registered company of Katie Hollinshead Art.
  
  

5. Completion Dates
A target completion date will be set before work begins. Clients will be notified upon dispatch. From that point, the artist is not responsible for delivery times.

6. Delivery
Prints: Shipped worldwide via tracked delivery.

Originals & Commissions: Shipped from the UK via tracked delivery or can be collected in person. Free delivery is offered within a 50-mile radius of Hereford. 

Packaging & Care: Orders are checked and wrapped with care to ensure safe arrival. If an order is damaged during transit, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery with:

A photo of the interior packaging and delivery box

• Full name and order number (found in your order confirmation email)

• A photo of the damaged product

• A photo of the interior packaging and delivery box
  
  

7. Returns Policy
Returns are not accepted due to a change of mind. Due to the nature of the sale and the limited number of editions, all sales of Original Artworks and exclusive stock are final. Once an order has been dispatched, returns are not accepted.
If a product arrives damaged, clients must notify Katie Hollinshead Art within 24 hours.
Every effort is made to ensure the client is happy with their finished artwork.

8. Copyright
The artist retains copyright to all work, including the right to display images in portfolios, on the website, and on social media. For client privacy, permission will be requested before sharing commissioned artwork.
Clients do not have the right to reproduce or sell copies of the artwork without the artist’s written consent.
The artist may produce prints of original artworks but will not produce prints of commissioned work. On occasion, an original artwork may be sold with a guarantee that no prints will ever be made of that piece.

9. Data Protection
I am committed to safeguarding your personal information. By providing your details, you consent to their use for processing orders, fulfilling commissions, communicating updates about your purchases, and sending newsletters or promotional emails if you have subscribed.
Your data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter or request access to, amendments to, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting me at klhollinshead@gmail.com.

10. Artwork Progress and Updates
Photos of the work-in-progress may be shared with the client, and minor adjustments can be made during this stage. Unless the client specifies otherwise (e.g., for a surprise gift), progress photos may be shared on social media.
If the artwork is a gift, images will only be shared publicly after the gift has been given.
